Subject outline

While most of the subjects in the Business Analytics suite focused on developing the students' technical skills, this subject is focused on developing the complementary non-technical skills necessary to undertake successful Analytical tasks. Specifically, the subject will address competencies such as Issue Identification, Problem Structuring, Data Gathering, Structured and Systematics Analysis, Developing Conclusions and Recommendations, Interviewing, Structuring Written Materials, Oral Communications, and Presentation Skills. Students will learn and experience these skills through one or more real-world projects scenarios thus, preparing them for the challenges of undertaking the capstone and Analytics placements towards the end of the course.
