Students undertake this subject as part of their Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) or a Masters by coursework program within the La Trobe Business School, where the research component of the program consists of 30 credit points. S students are required to undertake a semester long research project on a topic relevant to the student's core or major discipline, under the direct supervision of an academic staff member. In the case of part time students or multidisciplinary research projects, this subject can be combined with other thesis subjects to make up the 60 credit points typically required for a research project in the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) or a Masters by coursework program. The assessment for this subject comprises a research paper, of between 7500-9000 words in length as agreed with the supervising academic.
