Subject outline

This subject will provide you with the opportunity to develop the essential written and verbal communication, and interpersonal, skills required by all business professionals. You will consolidate your skills in the basic functions of office software including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint before moving on to the application of manual and automatic advanced features. You will also learn how to efficiently and professionally plan and produce a range of documents both for success as a university student as well as a working professional. With a particular focus on professional practices, this subject is designed to develop your research, critical thinking, planning, communication and interpersonal skills, and will engage you in thinking about professional practices in business and academic work.
