To obtain wider practical exposure, students will have the opportunity to travel and undertake non-metropolitan placements in rural, interstate and overseas destinations. Students will undertake a five-week placement. At the end of the placement, it is expected that students will have developed broader clinical experience in the investigation and management of acute and chronic eye disease, strabismus and ocular motility disorders, and to management patients with visual or general disability.
