Subject outline
In this subject students will develop their understanding of orthotic theory. Authentic clinical cases and enquiry-based activities are used to develop the student's understanding of the role of orthotic therapy in the management of commonly encountered conditions in the context of evidence-based practice. Students will complete a program of online activities and face-face practicums and start to develop a range of clinical skills that underpin the orthotic management of the cases examined.
