In this subject you will analyse economic interactions between countries in the context of international exchanges of commodities and assets. You will examine the complex process of globalisation and investigate different factors that shape the environment in which firms and nations interact. Topics will include exchange rate determination, international flow of capital, foreign debt, International competition and economies of scale, the gains from international trade, winners and losers from international trade, as well as trade policies.
