Subject outline

In this fourth and final clinical placement subject, you will integrate theory into practice under supervision in specialist clinical settings. You will undertake placements in the emergency health system as well as in emergency paramedic services. These specialised clinical experiences will enable you to develop as clinicians within the framework of the Paramedics Australasia Competency Standards for Paramedics and the broader emergency health system. While on these clinical placements, you will have the opportunity to practice and develop your clinical skills in the management of patients with acute health conditions in supervised clinical environments.
