Anatomy - Science Hub

Update March 17

Welcome to our Science Hub, where you can access online resources and Zoom support from our expert tutors.

La Trobe is pausing current face to face teaching on campus from Tuesday 17 March, resuming on Tuesday 24 March, and transitioning subject delivery to online wherever possible. There will not be any face to face support in the Science Hub from March 17-23.

The Science Hub will be transitioning to online delivery with Zoom sessions replacing face-to-face from next Tuesday, 24 March.  A Zoom timetable will be available in the TIMETABLES section of the Science Hub LMS site shortly. We will also post information on how to use Zoom. We are all looking forward to supporting you in these challenging times.

Human Anatomy is taught using multiple resources including:

  • skeletons
  • models
  • x-rays
  • plastinated sections
  • augmented reality
  • virtual reality
  • cadaveric specimens (donated bodies).

Whilst studying, our Science Hub has tutors available to help you with any anatomy related questions throughout the duration of the course. The resources listed above are all included apart from cadavers, as you will find in most Anatomy courses.

Current students can access resources on our Learning Management System (LMS) homepage.
