La Trobe Accelerator Program
Career Ready Award with a placement in our own Industry & Entrepreneurship Team (I&E Team), or with one of the many start-ups/scale-ups or SMEs that we work with.
For HDRs, we offer the potential to be aligned with the Graduate School to undertake an Industry PhD that will support an exciting new piece of research of commercial breakthrough being worked on by a start-up or organisation, participating in one of our programs.If you have your own idea for a start-up, or are just curious, then you might like to attend one of our ‘Hacks4Success’ sessions. Hacks4Success run during semester and feature a mix of workshops, clinics, drop-ins, and fireside chats with entrepreneurs, founders, and thought leaders. Many who are La Trobe Alumni, eager to engage with current students and support those keen to learn, develop and grow.
I&E support and work with:
- the LTU Start-up Club and advertise exclusive opportunities to their Facebook members.
- the Student Excellence Academy and specifically with the Entrepreneurship Stream.
- the Research and Development Education [RED] Team.
- the La Trobe University Alumni Community.
I&E work with the Melbourne, Victorian and Australian start-up eco-system, as well as globally based innovators and thought leaders from a diverse range of sectors:, the arts, creative industries, environment, agriculture, healthcare, social care, aged care, AI, VR, cyber, engineering, tech, digital, community, etc.
