The University of North Carolina (UNC) Charlotte campus is a large, spacious campus that is filled with academic buildings nestled among green vegetation. UNC offers numerous student life opportunities that include over 400 student run clubs, a state-of the-art student recreation facility, a campus cinema and a full schedule of campus events. A 15,000-seat football stadium is located on-campus and on game day, the campus is filled with 49’er fans wearing green and white as they show up to cheer on their team. UNC is located only 16 km from downtown Charlotte and connected by light rail.
