Kyoto Tachibana University was founded in 1967 as a private university for women on the basis of Tachibana Educational Institution, which has a long history of more than one hundred years. It has approximately 4,200 undergraduate students, 60 graduate students and 20 international students. Please note, LTU students intending to spend a semester on exchange at Kyoto Tachibana are required to possess intermediate to advanced level of Japanese language proficiency.
