Effective immediately: Australian students applying for a long term (more than 90 days) French student visa will no longer be able to send their visa applications by post-mail, and must book and attend an appointment in-person at the Consulate-General in Sydney. Students can book an appointment at the Consulate using the online booking calendar, which operates on a 60 days in advance system. Appointments book out very quickly, with the period between July and August being very busy. Students must be aware that they cannot attend their visa appointment more than three months before their arrival in France. Programs less than 90 days continue with the visa exemption. Both undergraduate and postgraduate subjects available.
