Career Ready Advantage Award
Showcase to employers how you have developed your skills by applying for a Career Ready Advantage Award. The following award levels are available based on your participation. Applications for awards will open towards the end of semester one, 2018. The eligibility for the awards are:

Earn Career Ready Blocks (and build your skills)
Build your skills by completing Learn activities in the LMS and by recording your completion of Do activities. For all Learn and Do activities you complete, you earn Career Ready blocks which unlock rewards and help you on your way to achieving a Career Ready Advantage Award.
Learn activities are free online courses to build your Career Ready skills. There are 24 Learn activities in total for you to choose from. Each course takes around 2 hours to complete and is packed with great content from LinkedIn Learning, Ted Talks, and interesting podcasts.
Do activities are experiences you have that develop your Career Ready skills. Get recognition for activities like part-time jobs, volunteering, internships, leadership courses, and extra-curricular activities, and more!

Earn Career Management blocks (and learn how to find the job you want)
Employers told us that students who take control of their career management really stand out. Our Career Ready team will support you as you develop your personalised Career Ready Advantage through consultations, workshops, Masterclasses, and connections with employers. Earn Career Management blocks by attending careers events and activities. You need to earn minimum numbers of Career Management blocks to access rewards and to obtain the Career Ready Advantage Award.
Unlock rewards (and develop a competitive advantage)
The more you participate in Career Ready Advantage, the more rewards you will unlock. Examples include priority access to internships, mentoring, LinkedIn workshops and consultations, as well as opportunities to network with employers and receive valuable feedback on your Career Ready progress.

Career Ready Portfolio
Being able to tell your story to employers is an important part of obtaining a job. As you record your Do activities, a copy of your reflection is automatically sent to your free PebblePad account. From here, you can curate your own Career Ready Portfolio (or LinkedIn profile) to show prospective employers, or to submit as part of your application to receive a Career Ready Advantage Award.
The Career Ready team provide support to students in developing a portfolio. Workshops will be scheduled in semester 1.
Career Ready Advantage is available to all enrolled students.
