Hi, I’m Samantha (friends call me Sam) and I’m about to go into my last year of Nursing - (YES, I AM EXCITED)!
Originally from Brisbane, I came to uni straight after high school and I found the transition to be quite a leap - but I don't regret anything! It has been life changing with endless experiences and opportunities.
Nursing has given me the best hands on experience with patients both in hospitals and their home environments.
I’ve learnt so much in my time at uni. I’ve learnt if you work hard and strive for your best, you will be rewarded for your efforts.
What’s my reward you ask??? I’m off on student exchange to Malmo University in Sweden for 6.5 months which, I'm ecstatic for.
I will get to immerse myself in a different culture and a different health care system. I will get to experience emergency nursing first hand in another country and very few people can say that they too have done that.
I’m nervous about not being able to speak the language and I’m nervous about making new connections – but that’s all part of the adventure and I can’t wait to share it with you.
