At what age did you start seriously training and competing in your sport(s)?

Ever since I was a little kid I've loved to run and race in little athletics, but it wasn't until I was about 12 or 13 that I seriously started training and competing.

What (and/or who) got you started in the sport?

I got involved at such a young age through Dad's encouragement. As I got older it was my first coach that noticed me and got me more seriously involved in athletics.

Are other family members involved in sport?

Yes, my youngest sister is a national level 9 gymnast and my other sister is a part of the Melbourne Training Centre Soccer Academy and New Balance Blackout Squad. My father coaches Norwood Football Club in the EFL.

Who has been the biggest influence in your sporting career?

Dad has definitely been my biggest through sport and life in general, and I thank him for a lot of my achievements so far.

Who has been the biggest influence in your academic life?

During school and now at uni Mum has definitely been my biggest influence on my academic life as she is always pushing me to do my best.

Do you support any other sport and/or teams?

I support Collingwood in the AFL, Arsenal in the EPL, New England Patriots in the NFL and Chicago Bulls in the NBA (bandwagon Michael Jordan)

How do you relax? Do you have other life interests outside of your sport?

Music, surfing, beach, snowboarding.

What is your favourite food?  Movie? Music/performer?

  • Favourite food – Pizza
  • Favourite movie – Shawshank redemption
  • Favourite music/performer – deep house (Kygo, Flume, Tchami)

What was the best advice you were ever given?

Big goals will lead to big success; small goals will lead to small success. Always have big goals.

Belief doesn't come from success, success comes from belief.
