At what age did you start seriously training and competing in your sports?
What (and/or who) got you started in your sport?
An injury in swimming which prevented me from racing in my preferred stroke of breaststroke, so I swapped to a sport of three disciplines where the risk of overuse injuries is much smaller.
Who has been the biggest influence in your sporting career?
A few family members have been high up in their chosen sports which have influenced me to train harder so that I could achieve a high standard as well. My family have always supported me in triathlon by driving me to early morning training sessions and races in the city.

My parents always wanted me to do the best that I could in everything that I did, including school.
