Public clinics

We operate five public access clinics across the Bundoora campus - Podiatry, Speech and Audiology, Psychology and Orthoptic Clinics.

The student clinics are open to the local community and provide teaching and learning experiences for our students. The clinics are operated by students and overseen by health clinicians provide a real-world teaching and learning experience for future health practitioners.

In 2019 we provided over 11,700 public appointments to staff, students and the local community.

University clinics are unique as they provide workplace learning opportunities that align with student’s clinical developmental needs. The clinics embed course curriculum, provide quality patient care and are integral in supporting and building clinical research.

By choosing a La Trobe public health clinic you will be providing a clinical experience for our students, while receiving world class health care at an affordable rate.

The clinics provide standard services covering audiology, psychology, speech and podiatry, however most often cannot meet the needs of complex cases, however please contact the clinics directly to discuss your needs.
