Background

The School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences will fund up to three Women in Cybersecurity scholarships in 2021 to support female students who wish to undertake our Bachelor of Cybersecurity course the Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus.

Are you eligible to apply?

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • be an Australian citizen, holder of Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • demonstrate high academic achievement
  • be enrolled in the Bachelor of Cybersecurity at the Melbourne campus of La Trobe in 2021

Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:

  • selection of highest ATAR score for female VCE applicants enrolled in the Bachelor of Cybersecurity. In this case, no formal application is required. Up to two scholarships will be reserved for this category.
  • an application by students based on academic merit; this will be available for non-VCE students applying through other pathways. One scholarship is reserved this category.
