Mason Family Trust Capital Support Bursary
Background
The Mason Family Trust Capital Support Bursary is administered by La Trobe University and was established from a donation by the Mason Family Trust of which Equity Trustees Limited is the trustee. The Capital Support Bursary is awarded to assist full time undergraduate students enrolled at the Bendigo campus in their first degree, who incur significant additional costs having to purchase equipment or other materials (e.g. instruments, art supplies, photographic equipment, computers, software, outdoor education resources, scientific or clinical equipment) as part of their course,
Are you eligible to apply?
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a full time student enrolled into any undergraduate degree at the Bendigo campus in 2021.
- Be commencing their first degree (this includes students articulating from TAFE and students who have previously transferred course).
- Be enrolled as a Commonwealth Supported or Domestic Fee paying student.
- Be residing in a regional location according to the Australian Standard Geographical Classification system
Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:
- Explanation of how the bursary will make a difference particularly in relation to purchasing equipment or materials
- Demonstration of their engagement in University life, community and/or career path.
- Submission of evidence of residing in a regional location
Recipient obligations
The successful applicant will allow their name to be published as the recipient of the Bursary and will agree to attend the Bendigo Prize Ceremony in 2021.How to apply
