Background

This scholarship has culminated from engagement and a relationship with Australian Private Capital since 2015, who have supported one full undergraduate scholarship and professional development seminars for our La Trobe Alumni community. Australian Private Capital wish to continue to provide the opportunity to support a student in their studies here at La Trobe University.

Are you eligible to apply?

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

For prospective Bachelor or Bachelor (Honours) students who are an Australian citizen or permanent resident. Specifically for prospective students entering into study within the disciplines of Business, Finance and Commerce.

The following courses are eligible:

Bachelor of Business

Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Finance)

Bachelor of Commerce single and double degrees

Bachelor of Finance


Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:

Selection is competitive, based on academic merit and a personal statement.

Recipient obligations

The recipient will need to undertake a milestone report i.e. 200-300 words at the end of each year to update the donor (Australian Private Capital) of their involvement within the scholarship and to highlight what the opportunity has provided them. The recipient will provide a final report at the end of your course.
