Dietetics and human nutrition
It is an exciting time to study and research in the area of food and nutrition. Almost everywhere you look these days people are interested in and talking about food and nutrition. At La Trobe University the Dietetics and Human Nutrition team offer a range of study and research opportunities. Undergraduate on-campus study includes the Bachelor of Human Nutrition and the combined Bachelor of Applied Science/Master of Dietetic Practice. Graduates of the Bachelor of Human Nutrition have the opportunity to study a one-year research Honours program. For off-campus, online study, the Bachelor of Food and Nutrition run through Open Universities Australia is available. Postgraduate on-campus study includes the Master of Dietetic Practice and in research the Master of Applied Science or Doctor of Philosophy.
The team in Dietetics and Human Nutrition bring a wealth of experience in food and nutrition research as well as expertise in a wide range of dietetic practice areas including clinical, community and public health, food service management, writing, consulting and media. The Dietetics and Human Nutrition team are experienced academics who are committed to providing a great learning experience for students.
