CHOICE

Options available to older Australians for care are constrained by many factors.

It makes little sense to ask about their end-of-life choices when our service systems lack capability, and community capacity is insufficient, to deliver them. This project addresses both these systemic inadequacies.

We work in partnership with peak bodies to improve government policy, resources allocated, and service options available. And we enhance end-of-life capability, capacity and sustainable leadership in local communities by showing them how to harness the strengths and resourcefulness of their existing networks of care, both formal and informal.
