The New Statistics & Open Science
The New Statistics: An estimation approach to data analysis, based on effect sizes, confidence intervals, and meta-analysis.
Open Science: An evolving set of practices designed to counter the replication crisis and increase the integrity, openness, and replicability of research. Open Science practices include preregistration, open materials and data, reporting of research whatever the results, replication, and statistical analysis centred on estimation and meta-analysis.
