The Bachelor of Pharmacy is accredited by the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC). Graduates of the Bachelor of Pharmacy may be eligible to apply for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Professional registration may be subject to additional or ongoing requirements beyond completion of the degree. Please contact the relevant professional body for details.
Applying for a degree
If you’re not a year 12 student and have not already applied through VTAC or UAC then you may be eligible to apply directly to La Trobe. You can check whether your course accepts direct applications by reading the 'How to apply' information in the course description. International students can find more information here.
Students study in Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours), Bachelor of Biomedical Science, Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Science courses. Selected undergraduate degrees are open for direct applications. Apply.
Prepare for further research with an Honours year once you complete your Bachelor's degree.
The Department's postgraduate courses and research programs allow students to work as active members of a research lab in an area of their choice through our Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy (Science, Technology and Engineering) degrees. Undertake postgraduate coursework study, or a graduate research degree in our world-class facilities to train for a career in academia, industry and beyond.
