Professional practice for Podiatry students
Through La Trobe’s industry scholarships program, the University’s podiatry students are gaining relevant and specialised experience at Foot Solutions retail network across Australia.
By applying core competency objectives, students are developing an appreciation of the financial, clinical, physical and consumer aspects of podiatry practice.
Bruce Wong, Managing director of Foot Solutions is confident his retail business is growing as a result of the scholarships scheme. Mr Wong stated that it was great to have motivated La Trobe podiatry students in store who know that “the right shoe makes all the difference to the way we look and feel”.
