Chisholm delivers La Trobe degrees

Chisholm Institute and La Trobe University have joined forces to bring locally delivered La Trobe University degrees to south east Melbourne.

La Trobe has entered into a long-term partnership with Chisholm to make La Trobe degree courses available at Chisholm’s Dandenong, Berwick and Frankston campuses.

From next year, students will be able to study Bachelor degrees in:

* Accounting

* Information Technology

* Healthcare (Nursing Foundation)

* Early Learning and

* Community Services

Students will also be able to study a Master’s of Business Administration via Chisholm.

La Trobe University and Chisholm have been partnering since 2012 and are in the process of developing innovative courses and delivery partnerships.

The range of courses available is set to grow during 2017 as further facilities become available across Chisholm’s campuses. Future course offerings in sport, engineering and advanced manufacturing, education, business and cyber security are currently under development. Chisholm is investing over $70 million in new facilities at its Frankston campus that are due to be completed in 2018.

According to Chisholm’s CEO, Maria Peters, “Our partnership with La Trobe University will provide access and opportunity for current and future students of Chisholm who want a pathway into bachelor degrees from a leading University without having to travel long distances.”
