They began their training program today with a reception at the Bendigo campus.

Associate Professor Trevor Budge, organiser and coordinator of the Community Development and Planning Program at La Trobe University said the visit provided the perfect opportunity for Bendigo to enhance ties with one of Australia’s closest neighbours.

‘This is a great opportunity to showcase all that Bendigo has to offer to international guests. We are fortunate to have high-ranking officials choose to undertake their leadership course at our University.

‘It is an acknowledgement of the expertise, strong business knowledge and community ties we have at La Trobe.’

Over the coming days the delegation will hear from La Trobe University business and community development experts, business consultants as well as leaders in the banking sector and the City of Greater Bendigo.

The delegation will be hosted by La Trobe University and the Bendigo Australia Indonesian Klub
