More than 600 La Trobe University Bendigo campus students will celebrate when Chancellor, Mrs Sylvia Walton, AO, confers their awards at graduation ceremonies on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 May.

Acting Executive Director of the Bendigo campus, Dr Andrew Harvey said this is a special time in the University calendar.

‘Our students can celebrate their achievements in the knowledge that a university degree will enhance their earning power and enrich their lives in many ways,’ Dr Harvey said.

‘Amongst this year’s graduates, we have seven PhD students in the Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering along with staff members, Raymond Nichol in the Faculty of Education, Joel Sing in the Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering, and Gary Hill in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, who are also being awarded a PhD,’ Dr Harvey said.

‘Staff member, Anne Southby, from the Faculty of Health Science, is also graduating with a Bachelor of Business. On behalf of everyone at the Bendigo campus, I extend warm congratulations to all graduates.’
