Honours art: a collaborative show

Fashion and culture come together in a collaborative photography exhibition by two La Trobe University visual arts honours students at the Phyllis Palmer Gallery.

exhibition Jeff Reynolds explores the notions surrounding fashion and its relation to the art work while Sally-Ann Stoel visits her cultural past to reconnect with her Filipino history.

The exhibition, entitled Amalgamate, presents a series of photographs from 2007 to the present. It includes their collaborative project, a full spectrum cascade of Colourful Fashion, Sally-Ann’s Looking Down on Me and Jeff’s two part series, Within Dreams, which reveals the secret worlds of sleep.

A preview of their current Honours projects is also featured in the exhibition.
Amalgamate runs from Monday 27 July to Friday 31 July at the Phyllis Palmer Gallery, La Trobe University School of Visual Arts building, Gate 8, Sharon Street, Flora Hill. Gallery hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
