Tim Flannery to speak at La Trobe University

Leading environmental scientist, author and explorer Professor Tim Flannery will speak at La Trobe University’s main Melbourne campus, Bundoora tomorrow, Wednesday 13th February 2008.

His subject will be Climate change in the context of the sustainability agenda.  The forum, on environmental issues, will be held between 4 and 5pm in the Agora Theatre, Bundoora Campus, see campus Melway map E7. 

The event is being hosted by the Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering. Staff, students and members of the community are invited to attend.

Former ‘Australian of the Year’ and a La Trobe University graduate, Professor Flannery is also a winner of the 2007 La Trobe University Distinguished Alumni Awards, which will be presented at a ceremony in March
