ARCSHS is sad to report that Adjunct Associate Professor Levinia Crooks passed away on October 16, 2017, after a long illness.
Levinia was a leader, champion and advocate in the field of HIV, viral hepatitis and sexually transmissible infections in Australia and internationally. She worked tirelessly in a range of roles, and particularly as CEO of the Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine for the last 18 years.
Her contribution to research, education and policy was significant, across the clinical, community and research sectors. She changed countless lives and minds for the better. She will be sorely missed.
