Introduction to Teaching & Learning Workshop

The ITL program provides academic staff with an introduction to teaching at La Trobe.

You will meet and collaborate with other new staff members on modules about La Trobe teaching policies and strategies, subject and assessment design, supporting student learning, professional development, and evaluation and feedback. To help put these ideas into practice you will also develop a folio of activities, strategies and resources to take away with you.

The workshop is offered in blended mode, providing you with a model of practice and a forum for discussion on this form of delivery. You will complete:

  • An online component of 4-6 hours (link to the module provided upon registration)
  • A one day face-to-face component
