Preparing for the future of commerce

Preparing for the future of commerce

From early on, Sean had a passion for law. And with an accountant father, he was also fascinated with commerce.

With our strong track record in both commerce and law1, it made sense for Sean to take on La Trobe’s Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws and get the best of both worlds.

Now in his fourth year, he’s already completed an internship at a prestigious firm and is on his way to achieving his career dreams.

Watch Sean talk about his time studying commerce and law at La Trobe.

‘La Trobe’s given me such a broad and diverse range of knowledge. I feel like any problem that arises, I can immediately help and make a difference,’ says Sean.

And with La Trobe’s focus on data insights and technology, he knows he’s prepared for what lies ahead.

‘La Trobe’s fantastic at keeping up to date with the industry because the industry is always changing, especially in commerce,’ says Sean.

‘I think La Trobe, by being able to adapt and be agile, they’ve taught you things that you can walk into any workplace and feel confident in the things you’ve learnt.’
