La Trobe students are invited to Innovation Series: Biosensors in Action<\/a>, a free, in-person event on Wednesday 28 October showcasing how La Trobe researchers are working with industry and government partners to translate biosensor research into real-world applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held at the Eagleworks Innovation Centre<\/a>, this is an opportunity to discover emerging biosensor technologies and explore their real-world impact across healthcare, diagnostics and public safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can a portable sensor help detect drugs at the roadside? Could new imaging technology support faster and more accurate cancer diagnosis? And what does it take to move a biosensor from the lab into large-scale production?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hear from La Trobe researchers and industry collaborators from Victoria Police<\/a>, Triton Biosensors<\/a>, AlleSense<\/a>, the BEST Centre<\/a> and MOBIUS<\/a>, as they explore innovations spanning roadside drug detection, cancer diagnostics and point-of-use blood testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speakers will share the science behind these technologies and the journey from research to real-world impact \u2013 including clinical validation, commercialisation, scalable manufacturing and large-scale production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presentations will be followed by an interactive panel discussion and audience Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to hear directly from researchers, innovators and industry leaders working at the forefront of biosensor technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
