The 2026 National Student Safety Survey<\/a> opens across Australian universities on Monday 7 September and you may receive an email invitation to participate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your voice matters<\/strong>. If you choose to\u202fparticipate, your experiences and perspectives can help inform positive change and contribute to safer campuses for current and future students across Australia and at home.\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Trobe students are welcome to complete the survey, irrespective of whether they have experienced sexual violence or harm. Participation is voluntary and completely confidential. Your individual responses will not be shared with the University.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for every student is fundamental to our mission as a university. While important progress has been made across the sector, including at La Trobe, we know there is more work to do.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By completing the survey, you can help us better understand the prevalence of sexual harm, perceptions of safety on campus, and how we can increase awareness about seeking help and reporting sexual violence and harm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
