The\u00a0Medibank SiSU Health Station\u00a0is now at the\u00a0new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latrobe.edu.au\/mylatrobe\/club-house-bundoora\/\">Club House<\/a> in the Agora at our Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus, and it&#8217;s here to help you take charge of your wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to our partnership with&nbsp;Medibank, all students can access this free, self-service health check. No bookings, no fuss \u2013 just drop in&nbsp;<strong>Monday to Thursday, 11 am to 2 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s the SiSU Health Station?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a five-minute health check machine that gives you instant results on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Blood pressure and heart rate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Height, weight and BMI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Body composition (including body fat percentage)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type 2 diabetes risk (using the AUSDRISK tool)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll see your results on screen and can access them anytime via the&nbsp;SiSU Health mobile app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why you should care<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cardiovascular disease is still Australia\u2019s leading cause of death, and high blood pressure often has no symptoms. With over&nbsp;1.3 million Australians&nbsp;diagnosed with diabetes, early detection matters. Knowing your numbers can help you start important conversations and take action early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does it work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Just tap the screen and follow the prompts, then you\u2019ll get instant results. If anything\u2019s outside the healthy range, the station will suggest seeing your GP. Make sure to use your&nbsp;personal email address&nbsp;when checking in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep in mind that this isn&#8217;t diagnostic tool, but it is a great way to kickstart your health journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your health, your way<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you\u2019re curious, tracking progress or just want a baseline, this is a simple way to stay on top of your health.
