World Social Work Day: 21 March 2023

The theme for World Social Work Day in 2023 is Respecting Diversity Through Joint Social Action. World Social Work Day is held on the third Tuesday of March each year, this year falling on Tuesday, 21 March 2023.

It’s the day that we celebrate the social work profession and promote the vital work of social workers to the Australian community, and globally.

La Trobe Social Work Day Event

At La Trobe we are celebrating the day with a panel of La Trobe academics and professionals talking about their careers and the social action they have engaged in.  Their careers showcase the breadth and richness of the social work profession.
