What’s open during the mid-Semester break

Even though your classes are taking a break if you’re enrolled in Semester 2, that doesn’t mean all your student support services are also taking a break. Make the most of them during your downtime, so you’re ready to hit the ground running when you get back.

La Trobe has many support services to help you out and ensure you’re feeling confident in your studies. And the best part? They’re all FREE!

Health, Wellbeing and InclusionThe La Trobe University Crisis Line will be available. Call 1300 146 307, or text 0488 884 100. You can also visit the Health and Wellbeing resource hub for online resources.

Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus students will continue to have 24 hour access to the Ngarn-gi Bagora Indigenous Centre (Room 228, Level 2, Agora East Building).
International Student Support24-hour student assistance hotline
This is a special after-hours telephone hotline for international students at La Trobe University. We care and want to help you with anything you might be worried about.
If you need help at night or on the weekends call 1800 758 360.

This is a free call from landlines anywhere in Australia. Standard call rates apply from mobile phones.

Graduate Research SchoolThe Graduate Research School will be open as normal. During the break, graduate researchers will still have access to all forms, candidature, progress and scholarship information through StudentOnLine.

Additional resources which may assist you regarding your candidature are also accessible on the Graduate Research School website.
Library Learning ServicesCheck out Library Learning Services Online, a single place in the LMS to find eLearning tools across La Trobe University. You can access self-paced learning activities when it suits you and from wherever you are. The Learning Hub Online brings together resources like Achieve@Uni, Studiosity and LinkedInLearning videos, along with specially designed resources.
LibraryThe Library will be open as normal. Check out the Library’s opening hours to find out more.

The Library provides access to ebooks, journal articles and many other resources online, any time through Library Search.
La Trobe Student Union (LTSU) Advocacy servicesLTSU Advocacy Services are still available. Register for support anytime online via Get Advocacy Support.
