Good news: La Trobe University is giving all its students access to Microsoft Teams.
The software is a great tool for sharing files, making video calls, hosting group meetings or working on documents together in real time.
As an added bonus, Microsoft Teams easily integrates Zoom and all Office 365 applications, so everything you need can be accessed through the one platform.
This is a great way for you to:
- Complete group or pair work (for assignments or to study together)
- stay connected with a Uni club or society, or even just a group of friends
Depending on which subjects you are enrolled in, your subject coordinator may also choose to use Microsoft Teams to host classes, tutorials, or support learning and teaching.
You can download Microsoft Teams here.
After you’ve downloaded the software, just use your student login and password to sign in.
Then open the application and explore. A good place to start is the left-hand side of the home screen, where you’ll see main functions like Chat, Activity, and Calendar.
