The 101 on parking

If you’re studying at the Melbourne (Bundoora) and Bendigo Campuses, there are a range of permit and casual parking options to suit your on-campus arrangements, no matter how frequently you park. You can manage your parking online too, so there’s no need for paper tickets.
Here’s a quick snapshot of the different options:
Option 1: Permit parking (aka vPermits)

  • vPermits are virtual parking permits that can be purchased and managed online.
  • You can purchase annual or half-yearly permits.

Option 2: Casual parking
If you prefer to pay by the day or hour, there’s two options:

  • CellOPark Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG): download the CellOPark app and only pay for the time you park.
  • Pay-by-Plate parking meters: use your vehicle registration and pay by cash (coins only) or credit card at the machine in selected carparks.

Visit Transport Central to find out more about the permit and casual parking options, as well as other sustainable transport options for getting to campus, like cycling, public transport and carpooling!

Parking fees

Visit Car Parking and select your campus for the different permit and casual parking fee options.

Remember, you’ll need to pay for parking at the Melbourne and Bendigo Campuses from Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm. Outside of these hours, parking is free.

Parking fees do not apply at the Albury-Wodonga, Mildura and Shepparton campuses.
