Talk and Tour sessions: La Trobe University Community Children’s Centre

The La Trobe University Community Children’s Centre is really excited to be reconnecting with the community, following the easing of COVID related restrictions.

We have a range of upcoming events, including a Centre-wide Art Exhibition and Talk and Tour sessions for staff and students with young children interested in learning more about our Centre.

We’re mindful of the impact that COVID has had on our community, particularly our children, and have developed a curriculum and Centre philosophy that focuses on well-being, for our children, families, and team. Learning experiences include yoga and mindfulness classes lead by a Yoga teacher, emotional regulation programs and gratitude practice.

With fun and learning as our top priorities, our children are loving being able to plan and host events for our families again. Currently the children are creating masterpieces for our art exhibition, ranging from sculpture, mixed media, abstract, impressionism to realism.  The exhibition will be open to our families in November.

For families interested in finding out more about our Centre, which includes kindergarten, all day care, an autism program and occasional care bookings, please register to attend our Talk and Tour information sessions in July.

Talk and Tour sessions will operate:

Friday 22 July, 10:30am – 11:30am and 2:00pm – 3:00pm

Tuesday 26 July, 10:30-11:30am and 2:00pm – 3:00pm
