Take on a volunteer placement in Semester 2 and get academic credit

If you’re an undergraduate student in Semester 2, 2021 you may be able to get credit volunteering. LTU2SLC Service Learning in the Community is an online elective available to undergraduate students in both the ASSC and SHE Colleges – the subject is not discipline-specific. Instead, LTU2SLC offers you the opportunity and flexibility to explore the world of volunteering and undertake a placement with a social enterprise or not-for-profit organisation that will benefit the community and contribute to the organisation’s mission.

  • Tuesday, 11 May | 12:00 – 1:00 PM | REGISTERThis session features Henni Wade, Manager, Volunteer Services, to discuss the role of volunteering at Northern Health.
  • Wednesday, 26 MAY | 11:00 – 12:00 PM | REGISTER

  • How to find a placement.
  • Pritam Dass Bursary for Service Learning in the Community, a $1,500 scholarship open to eligible students who enrol in LTU2SLC.
