Students take on staff in virtual soccer match. Here’s how you can get involved.

Everyone loves to win, right? And what’s better than being the first ever winner of a new event?

The time has come for the inaugural Albury-Wodonga Staff vs Student Virtual Soccer Match!

The best part about a virtual match is that you don’t even need to be very good at soccer! You earn points just by filming yourself juggling a soccer ball (or any ball) with your legs as many times as you can in 10 seconds. Just bouncing it off your foot counts as a point, and every little bit will help your team win!

Be sure to register for it, get your free t-shirt, and submit your entry following the rules below.

Support Coordinator Justine Rofe explains how you can get involved!

What do you need to do?

  1. Watch the instructional video and a student entry video
  2. Register at the following link, making sure to provide your shirt size, postal address and whether you are a staff member or student:
  3. Using your phone or camera, film yourself juggling a soccer ball (or netball, or a kid’s ball) with your feet or legs. The aim is to juggle the ball as many times as possible in 10 seconds. Each bounce/juggle =1 point. One entry per person.
  4. Email your video to Justine Rofe at

But quick! Entries close on the 7th September!

All 10-second videos will be collated into a short video for participants to watch, and the Inaugural Trophy will be awarded to either the Students or Staff.

Make sure you get involved and most of to have some fun! May the best team win!
