Seeking participants for study on the safety of women on public transport in Melbourne

Do you travel on public transport to study or work at La Trobe University or RMIT University?

Do you identify as female?

Have you ever felt personally afraid for your safety and/or have experienced an unwelcome advance or other unwelcome conduct when you’ve been using public transport?

Do you have views on, or would you like to contribute to, how to make public transport safer for women?

IF YES, we would like to interview you about your experiences when you’ve been commuting to and from the university and hear what you think public transport could do to make women safer.

The interviews may take up to an hour, and students will be offered a $20 Coles/Myer voucher as appreciation for your time.

If you are interested, please contact Jess Ison via email (j.ison@latrobe.edu.au) or phone (+613 9479 6288) for further details.
