Plan your visit to the Library

Our libraries are reopen at Albury Wodonga and Melbourne from Monday 6 July. Before you get to campus and rush to your favourite spot, you need to do some planning, follow the steps below to make you’re prepared for your study trip.

1. Stay at home if you’re unwell

If you have any of the symptoms of COVID-19, however mild, you must NOT attend campus and should seek advice and get tested. This requirement applies to all students, regardless of where you live.

Please refer to the information provided by Victoria’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) for the latest advice on current COVID-19 hotspot locations in Victoria, and factor their advice into your planning.

2. Visit the library’s COVIDSafe website

Please make sure you visit the library’s COVIDSafe website before you make your trip to campus to make sure you’re familiar with the new set up. Here you can also see how people are in the library in Bundoora with our live tracker.

3. Bring ID to get access

Ensure you bring your student card or another form of ID that shows you’re a La Trobe student to gain access when you arrive.

Library staff have been working hard to get the building COVIDSafe for your return. You will see signage throughout the Library that you need to follow.

4. Be COVIDSafe when you arrive

COVIDSafe physical distancing policies will be in place and hand sanitiser stations available throughout the building.
