Peer Learning Advisors are available via Zoom!

Stressed about assessments? Can’t quite wrap your head around referencing? Need help with time management? Make a positive start to Semester 2 by getting in touch with our friendly PLAs, now online via Zoom!

So, what’s a PLA?

Our Peer Learning Advisors (usually called PLAs) are experienced, successful students from various disciplines, all specially trained to help other students with their study. You can drop in on Zoom to ask them about planning and writing assignments, referencing, time management, or anything else that’s on your mind as you adjust to a new semester of uni. No question is too small!

Sounds great, how do I connect?

Get in touch with the PLAs online, weekdays from 12-2pm and 4-6 pm Melbourne time, starting from Week 2 (week beginning 27 July). Find the PLA drop-in service by visiting the Learning Hub webpage or LMS subject. Just click on the Zoom link provided – there’s no need to make a booking!

Where else can I get help?

As well as accessing the PLA drop-in services, you can book individual consultations with Learning Hub staff, or sign up for a great range of study skills workshops throughout the year. Visit the Learning Hub LMS to learn more about the supports available.
