LTSA Update – Pride Week, Elections & More

Pride Week – April 12th to the 16th

The theme for 2021 is ‘Welcome back to a whole new world’.  LTSA are proud to announce a wide range of events for all students, on all campuses as well as in the virtual space.

We have a celebration day on each campus, flag raising ceremonies, stalls, speeches and, on some campuses, there is a Rainbow Run and a Lip Sync Competition! It’s going to be an amazing week and a chance to celebrate and participate. Online Gender Bender Bingo (Wednesday the 14th at 7pm) is going to be a highlight of the week. An evening hosted by Pistolina and Timothy Christopher Ryan, the burlesque, drag and performance art superstars that delight in the quirky, weird and playful. It is free to join but registration is essential. There are lots of prizes to be given away as well. So join us in your best garb for a sparkling evening.

Check the events page for more info.

La Trobe Uni have also arranged some online events for Pride week. It is a is a great opportunity to show your support for all our sex, gender and sexuality diverse folks on campus. You can find out more here
