Library Summer Hours – How do I return books?

Like the rest of La Trobe University, the Library will be taking a short break over the holiday period.

You can still visit the Library over the summer and access our friendly online and face-to-face services at times during this period.

Library Summer opening hours

Bundoora, Bendigo and Albury-Wodonga

  • Current – 23 December 2021: Monday – Sunday: 8 am-8 pm
  • 24 December 2021 – 9 January 2022: CLOSED
  • 3 January 2022– Orientation Week 2022: Monday – Sunday: 8 am-8 pm 

Mildura 

  • Current – 23 December 2022: Monday – Friday: 8:30 am-5 pm
  • 24 December 2021 – 4 January 2022: CLOSED 
  • 10 January 2022– until Orientation Week: 8:30 am-5 pm

Shepparton

  • Current – 23 December 2022: Monday – Friday: 9 am-5 pm
  • 24 December – 9 January: CLOSED 
  • 10 January 2022– Orientation Week 2022: Monday – Friday: 9 am-5 pm

How to return what you borrowed in 2021

Do you have a book that has been sitting since before lockdown? Do not stress, the Library does not want your money, but they do want their books back! 

Returning a book at your campus is easy, see details below for your campus. 

Bundoora

To return a book at Bundoora, use the return chutes outside of the Library on the eastern side of the Building. See this campus map for where the return chutes are located:

Bendigo

For Bendigo, head up to Level 1 where you will find the returns chute near the ASK La Trobe area.

For returning a book after hours, use the return chute outside the Security office.
