Your 2021 Guide to Orientation

La Trobe University’s 2021 Orientation program is available now!

Orientation is the best way to jump start your studies and be prepared for the exciting things to come. While things might look a little different this year as we continue responding to the challenges of COVID-19, we have made sure there are still lots of opportunities to meet your peers and staff members, learn about your course and all of the support available to you as a La Trobe University student.

All you need to do is follow these easy steps to get the most out of orientation and get set for success.

Step 1 – Explore the great selection of orientation events via the Online Orientation Planner and start planning your Orientation experience.

Step 2 – Register for an Enrolment Support Session. Getting started and navigating the enrolment process can sometimes be a little tricky. That’s why this session is a great place to start.

Step 3 – Be prepared by downloading and understanding how to use the different online platforms and software you will be using while studying. Check out the Student IT Starter Class to get up to speed on all things La Trobe technology. Other great resources, information and advice is available through Student IT Support.

Step 4 – Complete the La Trobe Online Orientation module.
