Tips for your application:
- Get in early! Start your application as soon as you can, as most scholarships will have an application closing date. Starting early will also give you more time to get all the required documentation ready to submit your application.
- Research the scholarship. Some scholarships are donated by individuals or organisations who have a very specific purpose in mind. Read the background of the scholarship and ensure you can explain how you fit the specific criteria of the scholarship.
- Use formal language. Each scholarship is carefully and thoroughly assessed so it is important that you fully answer each question to the best of your ability. Take care with your spelling and grammar to make the best impression
- Give as much about your situation information as you can. If you are asked to describe difficult circumstances be assured that the information you supply is strictly confidential. Many scholarships are aimed specifically at supporting our most disadvantaged students. You should provide as much detail as you are comfortable with supplying.
- Before you submit make sure that you’ve answered all questions and gathered all the required supporting documentation.
